What type of equipment do you use?

Gas Entertainment only uses state of the art professional DJ equipment.

How early will the DJ arrive to setup?

Our DJs typically take forty-five minutes to unload and setup, we like to arrive at the venue two hours before the event start time. 

What services do you offer?

We offer DJ and MC services for any events.

Can we choose the music?

Yes. It’s your party! While we are happy to make suggestions, you have total control over the music that is played at your event.

Will the DJ help with announcements?

Our DJs come equipped with a microphone and are happy to make announcements and to help coordinate activities at your event, if you want them to.

Will the DJ take request from guests?

Absolutely!  We’ll work with you prior to your event to determine the specific styles and individual requests that you’d like played. We’ll also encourage your guests to make requests (if you approve) to make sure we play the songs that you and your guests want to dance to.

Can we meet you before our event?

We meet with clients on an appointment basis. We are usually available on evenings Monday through Thursday. If that doesn't work, we will work with you to book a convenient time. At our meeting, we will discuss your event details.

Do you do destination weddings?

Yes. For destination weddings, we charge our wedding service rate plus travel expenses.

Should we feed the DJ?

This is not required in our contract and is completely up to you. Typically, the catering director or event coordinator will set aside a meal or boxed dinner for the DJ if requested by the client.

Is the DJ able to do overtime?

If you are having fun and want your DJ to play longer we would love to keep the party going. All overtime is purchased on an hourly basis and the cost for overtime is outlined in your contract. Overtime must be payed via check or credit/debit prior to the DJ continuing their performance.

Do we tip the DJ?

Gratuities are appreciated; however the amount is entirely at your discretion. Generally, we recommend 5-15% of the entertainment price.

How can we pay?

We accept credit/debit cards, cash, money transfers through CashApp, and checks. All checks should be made out to Gas Entertainment.
